Job Description

• Read scripts and storylines to understand animation requirements
• Prepare presentations with raw designs to customers
• Develop storyboards for the different stages of production
• Conceptualizing creative ways to convey abstract concept, idea and story
• Using cutting-edge technology to animate a wide variety of humanoid characters, realistic creatures and reactive environments
• Working and liaising collaboratively with other design and production staff to ensure consistency and accuracy of animated designs
• Working creatively to produce original and aesthetic designs and solutions
• Join images with background graphics and special effects
• Ensure synchronization of frames and audio
• Collaborate with production crew (designers, directors etc.)
• Researching various design techniques to provide accurate designs for requested animation

 

Requirements

• First degree from a reputable institution
• A minimum of 2 years experience as a Motion Designer/Animator preferably in the tech industry
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Technical expertise with industry-standard tools to create production design works such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Adobe Edge Animate, Adobe illustrator, et al
• Proven ability to draw across different types of artistic styles
• Significant attention to detail and patience to work carefully and efficiently
• Proven expertise of 2D/3D, stop motion and computer-generated animation
• Project Management expertise
• A creative storyteller with presentation abilities
